Testing concept at KIT

The obligation to provide proof of vaccination, recovery, or a negative test (3G) for work at KIT ceased to apply some time ago. Still, KIT will continue to provide all employees working on campus with self-test kits until further notice.

According to the valid Coronavirus Testing Ordinance, public cost-free Covid tests are offered to highly vulnerable persons only. Visitors, patients, or people living in healthcare facilities and nursing homes, nursing relatives, people with disabilities and their care workers, as well as persons wishing a test for leaving self-isolation continue to be entitled to cost-free tests until February 28, 2023.

More information on the different types of tests may be obtained here.

MED currently carries out rapid tests in exceptional situations only.
